Virtual visit in an ultrafast laser lab

The picture below shows an overview of the laser lab, with the optical table and the lasers in the center, driving computers and other electronic equipment in the background. The primary pumping Ar-ion laser is in the far left corner.

This picture is rather crowded. You can see  details with schematic charts and the photos of the objects, along with explanations (for the time being, only in Hungarian). Clicking in the objects marked by a cursor showing a hand symbol, you can get additional info. If you happen to understand Hungarian, you can read the first three chapters from the book "Femtosecond Chemistry" (or "Femtokémia", in Hungarian: A kémia újabb eredményei 86. kötet, Akadémiai Kiadó Budapest, 1999), explaining the principals of ultrafast lasers in more detail.
